JUST A JOY - AS GIRL OR BOY
Miss Lily Elsie in her Stage Costumes.

These are two of the costumes which she wears in "Mavourneen," in which she is appearing at His Majesty's theatre. On the right we see her as the wayward Irish maiden before her journey to and her adventure at Court, and the other depicts her in the disguise which she adopts in the course of her exploits during the action of the play.

And from No. 749, November 3rd.

In her court dress.

Miss Lily Elsie as a 'roystering Irish D'Artagnan.

Two pictures here show Elsie as the sweet Irish Colleen, in which character she dances barefoot to the old fiddler priest of the village.

In her court dress again.

And from No. 753, December 1st 1915.

'A rosebud, sweet as English air could make her'
